How to make Cow Dung Fuel?

Things you'll need:

Cow Dung Fuel
1/2 -Cow feces
1 pack- charcoal
paper
matches
measuring container (for uniform sizes)

Procedure:

1. Gather all materials for making a Cow dung fuel.
2. Expose the Cow's feces under the heat of the sun. Make sure to lay it all flat in order to be partially dried and keep it away from rain or water.
3. When the Cow's feces are partially dried, add in the crushed charcoal.
4. Mix evenly the Cow's feces and the crushed charcoal.
5. Measure the Cow Dung with a small container, and mold it in circular motion, until it is perfectly shaped.
6. Then again dry the Cow Dung using the heat of the sun, until fully dried.
7. Finally try to use (Cow dung Fuel) it as your substitute in cooking your food.

Animal Dung Fuel (Cow)

Cow dung is the waste of bovine animal species. These species include domestic cattle ("cows"), bison ("buffalo"), yak and water buffalo. Cow dung is the undigested residue of plant matter which has passed through the animal's gut. The resultant faecal matter is rich in minerals. Colour ranges from greenish to blackish, often darkening in colour soon after exposure to air.


Cow dung in many parts of the developing world, it was made caked and dried cow dung is used as fuel.

Dung may also be collected and used to produce bio gas to generate electricity and heat. The gas is rich in methane and is used in rural areas of India/Pakistan and elsewhere to provide a renewable and stable source of electricity.
